Sorrento Events And Festivals

A lot of interesting events and activities taking place in Sorrento and even in the other towns on the Sorrentine Bay. Throughout the year there are music concerts, exhibitions, traditional festivals and so on that keep happening here, adding color to this exclusive resort town. The Sorrento Jazz would be great time to come here if you happen to like jazz and scenic surroundings.

The Ravello Music Festival full of weekly concerts throughout the summer in August and September is another wonderful program.

From March until June you have the Chamber Music Festival and the International Weeks of Chamber Music is held between July to September at St. Rose Convent in Conca dei Marini Town. Concerts in the Teatro Greco are also held in Sorrento.

Various art exhibitions are held in Sorrento throughout the summer mainly at the Ischia La Mortella Garden.

The Festabiente festival celebrates nature while the St. Salvatore's Day Feast, in Schiazzano, Massa Lubrenze, celebrates local produce. Best of all is the Sea Festival at Marina Grande that has every one in a mood of revelry.
